At HOPE, each of our clients receive the CARE (counseling, advocacy, resource referrals, and education) they need in order to make lasting, financial changes.
COUNSELING
Clients work one-on-one with a counselor to develop skills that will empower them to responsibly and independently handle their finances. HOPE offers budget, credit, and housing counseling services designed to help clients assess their current situation and develop an action plan to meet individualized goals.
ADVOCACY
Often times when facing challenges in their daily lives, many people find it difficult to navigate through complex bureaucratic policies and paperwork involved in acquiring benefits and services. Without providing legal advice, HOPE assists individuals in making use of every support available to which they are entitled.
RESOURCE REFERRAL
HOPE can provide assistance in identifying appropriate community resources or make a referral to other agencies more effectively equipped to meet the client’s need.
EDUCATIONWith the economy becoming more complex and diversified there is a greater need to educate individual consumers so that they have the ability to make financial decisions, from an informed standpoint, that are in their long term best interest.
HOPE will come to your location to educate your members, employees or constituents on matters of financial literacy. Workshops include, but are not limited to, money management, credit management, home ownership, debt-free living, saving, investing, identity theft, and foreclosure prevention.
